  1. This is false, long exposure to cold does in fact increase the risk of getting the common cold. That is because rhinovirus, which is the commonly reason to getting sick thrives in colder climate, around 35-37 degrees. While being cold doesnt make you sick, it's the perfect tempature for the virus to grow.
